That’s what Jimmie Johnson appears to be as the season comes to a close; unstoppable. Johnson has just put his number 48 Lowe’s Chevy on the pole for the final race of the season at Homestead. This will surely make Jeff Gordon’s job of catching him for the title that much harder.
Over the last five races, Johnson has seemed to be in a league of his own. In each of his victories as of late, he has had so-so cars midway through the race, only to come on as Superman at the end. With that in mind, what could that mean for this weekend?
